Strategic and management issues

In response to the increased demand for more detailed, including disaggregated, and timelier data emanating from the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, the global official statistics community, through the Statistical Commission, has developed a transformative agenda for official statistics with a view to having modernized National Statistical Systems (NSSs) in place that produce official statistics more efficiently, more cost-effectively and in a sustainable, integrated and internationally coordinated way, based on an inclusive partnership. Officials in the National Statistical Offices (NSOs) and ministries achieve knowledge on strategic and management issues, including governance and management of national statistical organizations.
