Country course for Mongolia: Sampling Techniques with Applications

SIAP organized a five-day training course for the National Statistics Office of Mongolia in September 2023. Course focused on building capacity to improve the sampling strategies. Course topics included overview of sampling techniques, equal and unequal probability schemes along with their use in complex surveys. The issues of variance estimation and non-response were also covered during the course of workshop. The program included interactive discussions to share country experiences, practical exercises to apply concepts and methods discussed, and limited lecture.
