Eighth Basic-Level e-Learning Course on System of National Accounts (2008 SNA): Integrated Transaction Accounts

[22 October – 23 November 2015, Online]

The Eighth Basic-Level e-Learning Course on System of National Accounts (2008 SNA): Integrated Transaction Accounts will be conducted by the Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (SIAP), a regional institution of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) from 22 October – 23 November 2015.

The five-week e-learning course aims to provide a strong foundation for the practical understanding and application of the 2008 System of National Accounts in the compilation of key national accounts aggregates.

The target participants of the course are junior- and middle-level government statisticians who have some knowledge of the SNA or involved in the collection and compilation of statistics that support national accounts compilation. Users of national accounts statistics outside compiling agencies or those interested to work on national accounts in the future may find this course useful. The course will provide an overview of the SNA 2008 and demonstrate methods and techniques for compiling transactional accounts in the SNA 2008.
